In Mould Cavity Closing Technology has been developed by Matrix in order to achieve the very fast cycle time for Flip Top caps.
The lid closing device turns the cavity insert managed by servo drive technology, which allows us to achieve; the opening forces control, perfect closing path, high closing speed and stroke settings.
This operation can be performed immediately after mould opening, reducing therefore the total cycle time.
A very careful study of the cooling circuits, using Moldex 3D soft, allows Matrix to design an optimized cooling of the cavities, to reach a very fast cycle time for the Flip Top caps.
